is it possible to make money on amazonthe american cedar mill is a cedar and house log wholesaler.shipping costs can be significant, so small orders are not usually ecomomical to ship. our shipment sizes are usually by the semi load or ocean container load. while we would like to work with orders of all sizes it simply isn't economical to ship small orders via fed ex, ups or the usps. our orders are typically sized from the single semi load to over a dozen ocean container loads in one shipment. when building a log home, the entire order of house logs is typically sent in one shipment. shipping is usually coordinated and paid for directly by the customer (fob). if you need help finding a shipping company, we can provide you with a couple to start with. shipping quotes should come directly from the shipping companies. |
